Course Description
Principles of environmental management covering air, water, hazardous substances, solid and hazardous wastes, vectors and tropical pathogens. Environmental management policy and plan-ning. Disaster management, Techniques and methods in environmental management, Sustainable development and environmental management, Environmental laws and standards, Environmental monitoring process, Health, safety and accident management.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the students are able to
• Describe the key component of environmental aspects
• Describe the concept and the applications in environmental management,
• Demonstrate the environmental management in some organizations
• Apply knowledge and skill of environmental management in various organization and context particularly in the school.
