Common problems and diseases in travelers, pre-travelling and post-travelling counselling, prevention and management

Course Goals

The graduates will have basic knowledge in Travel Medicine, common travel-related health problems and basic intervention in travel medicine.  They will be able to describe recommendation in order to prevent health problem for traveler including differential diagnosis, laboratory investigation and place treatment.

Course Objectives

• Upon completion of the course, medical graduates will achieve proficiency in the following areas: 
  1. Knowledgeable in basic travel medicine concept and its practices 
  2. Knowledgeable in important preventive measure in travel medicine
