Course Goals
The graduates will have knowledge in common travel related diseases/problems in aspect of pre/post
travel. They will be able to plan for pre-travel vaccination, malaria prevention and other preventive measure
for common health problem among travelers.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course, medical graduates will achieve proficiency in the following areas:
1. Knowledgeable in common travel related health problems among travelers, their challenges and solutions
2. Knowledgeable in important preventive measure in order to prevent common travel-related health problem

CLO1: Describe common and important travel-related problems and its impact
CLO2: Describe travellers who request for pre-travel counselling and generate sound preventive measure in-
cluding vaccine recommendation
CLO3: Outline the investigations, treatment and generate the proper advice for the patient with travel-
related diseases.
