Course Description
Clinical practices of tropical diseases in adult patients with moral and ethics principles; gaining experiences in caring tropical discase patients in clinical manifestations, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of tropical diseases
Course Goals
The graduates will have updated knowledge in clinical tropical medicine (in aspect of pathogenesis, pathology, clinical manifestation, diagnosis, and treatment) and will be able to apply the knowledge on the management and prevention of common tropical diseases.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the student should be able to
1) Demonstrate ethical consideration and code of conduct in medical practice in Tropical Medicine by applying knowledge on clinical medicine and principle of good clinical practice(GCP)
2) Discuss and apply all the knowledge in tropical diseases including clinical aspect, laboratory investigation and management and solve the problem base learning issue on practical point
3) Communicate effectively using proper information technologies for presentation

CLO1: Demonstrate moral and ethical manners in managing patients with tropical diseases
CLO2: Analyse clinical manifestations, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention in tropical diseases to give recommendation and counselling
CLO3: Appraise the patient’s problems and make differential diagnosis and plan for treatment
