- Course Goals
The course aims to prepare students for conducting project in a portion of thesis. They should be able to develop preliminary research, prepare a research proposal with appropriate citations and justified ethical use of animals/humans, and should be able to prepare a research proposal communicate to peers in scientifically convincing way.

At the end of the course, the students should be able to
CLO1: Design and formulate research questions, hypothesis and comprehensive contents of the thesis proposal in Tropical Medicine
CLO2: Select appropriate tools and methodologies for thesis proposal in Tropical Medicine
CLO3: Choose and cite appropriate sources of reliable information and data in scientific communication (writing and speaking presentation)
CLO4: Conduct a pilot research according to research standards and ethical guidelines to solve tropical medicine related problems
CLO5: Identify possible sources of unexpected findings, propose potential solutions and suggest points of improvement
CLO 6: Analyze, evaluate, conclude and communicate research findings to academic community and propose future thesis research plan
