Common health problems and diseases in the tropics, etiologies, risk factors, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and management.
Course Goals
The graduates will have advanced knowledge about common diseases and health problems in the tropics (in aspect of etiology, pathogenesis, risk factors, clinical manifestation, and diagnosis) and will be able to use the knowledge in the treatment planning of these diseases and health problems.
Course Objectives
- At the end of this course, the student should be able to
- describe etiology, pathogenesis and risk factors of common diseases and health problems in the tropics
- describe clinical manifestation, diagnosis and plan for treatment of common diseases and health problems in the tropics
