Important tropical diseases; Infectious agents, virus, bacteria, fungi, parasites, intermediate hosts and vectors; Geographical distribution of diseases; Pathogen life cycles, symptoms; diagnosis, treatment and control of diseases
Course Goals
The course aims to equip the students with multidisciplinary knowledge on tropical pathogens and vectors and professional skills in tropical medicine as well as analytical and collaborative skills in tropical disease-problem solving with achievement, motivation, moral and ethical manners.
Course Objectives
- Be knowledgeable in the contents of tropical diseases: agents, hosts and vectors and apply the knowledge for analyzing problems related to tropical diseases.
- Help team to complete assignment on tropical diseases, as leader and follower
- Transfer knowledge of tropical disease by preparing and presentation to community in class
