Course Description
The role and significance of food in human health and the way of life nutrient requirements for the growth and development in childhood; illness due to the imbalance of dietary intakes; undernutrition and overnutrition; the important roles of foods in the disease prevention
Course Goals
The course aims to teach students with principle knowledge of nutrition, to learn nutrition is essential for life especially child, imbalance nutrition lead to malnutrition in both ways; undernutrition and overnutrition. Graduates from the course will apply knowledge this course for nutrition assessment, evaluate and conclusion in purpose of health promotion and proper nutrition in school children that benefit to schools and communities fulfilling the demand of MU graduation.
