1. How the mosquito can transmit the pathogen?
Not all species of mosquito transmit a pathogen, but in order to do so, a mosquito should be a susceptible arthropod (insect). Inside the mosquito, the parasite’s oocysts develop in the gut until the sporozoites transfer to the salivary gland. Through b…[Read more] -

1. How the mosquito can transmit the pathogen?
The transmission of the pathogen by mosquito vectors can occur in 3 ways during the activity or life cycle of the mosquito such as lay eggs, biting, and mating. The first one is Vertical Transmission, which occurs when the female mosquito passes the pathogen to its embryo. And made the next…[Read more] -

1. How the mosquito can transmit the pathogen?
The mosquito can transmit the pathogen to another mosquito or host in a total 3 ways.
First, Vertical transmission is transmit by mother to their children during lay eggs and commonly occurs in virus infection.
Second, Horizontal transmission is transmit by mosquito biting host to another host such…[Read more] -

You’re correct. We can use reticulocyte count for differential diagnosis in the patients with high MCV value.

Sahara, your answer #1 is correct, this urine color is red with babbles. This can see in intravascular hemolysis patients.
But answer #2 the shape of RBCs is leakage out content, and contracted red blood cells showed. This is a patient with G6PD deficiency.

Ashley, you done well, it’s nearly correct.
Urine color is red and frothy are correct.
I would like to add more information of blood smear that; red blood cells content contracted on one side. This call contracted red blood cells with some leakage out of red blood cells. Spike membrane is leakage of red blood cells content.this is a patients…[Read more]

Hi there 🙂 I’m Tipawan Ammarit student ID: 6438166.
How does epidemiology of vectors improve vector control? (Give an example and discuss)Firstly, epidemiology is the study (scientific, systematic, and data-driven) of the distribution (frequency, pattern) and determinants (causes, risk factors) of health-related states and events (not just…[Read more]

Hello everyone!
Please find my opinion as below:
1. I have sent pictures of the mosquito ovarรำห to Ajan via email.
The mosquito ovary can be used to evaluate the age of the mosquito and also can be used to determine whether this female mosquito has laid eggs before or not. We can dissect the ovary of the mosquito (fed or non-feeding) under…[Read more] -

First of all, I already sent mosquito ovary dissection that I dissected it by myself via mail.
1. So I’m gonna describe character, shape, how to collect of parous ovary.
– Character: Tracheoles in ovary were expanded longer than tracheoles of nulliparous ovary that tightly rolled called a ‘sk…[Read more] -
